"Twenty years ago I had a friend and he asked me if I would like to go to the camino with him. At that time I hadn’t heard about it. In the end he went to Spain and I didn’t. For twenty years this has been in the back of my mind and I was wondering about the camino. I heard more and more about it, I read about it and I told myself that I had to do it.” A pilgrim on its way

How is the life of a pilgrim? And what is the meaning of walking the camino? Simple questions, with not an easy answer. Or is there?

In a catching lecture I talk about my experience as a pilgrim. In 2005 I have walked the camino for the first time, a second time in 2007 and again in 2008. Every time I left St. Jean Pied de Port as a pilgrim, to be on the road on my own or in the company of many others. How is it to walk for four weeks in a row, what do you think about and how does it affect you? Where do you sleep at night and who is your company.

In a lecture of two hours I give an answer to all these questions and more. Essential information for those who want to walk the camino and a nice memory for those who have been a pilgrim.  Entertaining for everybody else. On the agenda you will find where I am talking. Please contact me if you want more information about giving a lecture.
