Sometimes you first have to get lost, have lost your way, before you can meet. Dare to meet yourself. Getting lost is something that takes courage, to be able to tell yourself that you don't know anymore, that you are lost.
About Jan de Hoon
For six years I was the owner/director of a management consultancy in Den Bosch/Zaltbommel (the Netherlands). Amongst the clients were Jeroen Bosch Hospital in Den Bosch, Ikea, community council of Deventer and Viecuri Hospital in Venlo. After these years of consultancy I was looking for a new inspiration as a coach and trainer and went to Canada for a wilderness guide course. Here originates the idea to combine coaching with walking (the outdoors). Walking the camino to Santiago de Compostela in Spain confirmed that it would be a workable combination. In this combination you find the fundament for my walking coaching. Next to this I use my extensive life and working experience abroad. I have worked for the Netherlands Consulate-General in Kampala, Uganda and was a tour guide in Asia (China, India, Pakistan and Nepal) for some years.
Next to coaching I give workshops and you can book me as an inspirational speaker. I am also a freelance journalist and photographer.
On my LinkedIn page you can find more detailed information about me.
