<< Word & Image >>
How do you translate mission and vision into words and images?
How does your destination look like?
A photo sometimes says more than a thousand words. A good photo stops you where you are, makes you think about it. A good photo brings the soul of people to life, compositions create their own reality of the moment, honest, sincere, with respect, even daring with an eye for details.
Photography is different than writing, in an interview and a conversation you catch and collect words of which you make a story later. A photo tells a story at the moment it is taken. Unchangeble. With words of Jim Goldberg:
“My work is based in trust. I don't work well just snapping pictures, although some people would say the opposite. I really feel like intimacy and trust are the guide to my work.”
